People ask me how come I keep on winning.  Tough question – it’s like asking Richard Branson or Donald Trump how they keep succeeding.  For me, the simple answer is attitude.  And key to attitude is psychology.

How does it work at the poker table?  Last night I was playing Texas Holdem online at  www.bigslickpoker.co.uk and I cleaned up.  Why?  No one else understood their own psychology, or that of the other players.

No one realised that they were too easy to read because they followed the instant habit patterns of their minds, rather than assessing each situation on its own merits.

Think about what you’re doing at the table, before, while and after you do it.  Learn from your victories and your mistakes.
